It has come to my attention that sometimes HCT Administrative appointments are posted to your outlook without an email reminder. The default for outlook is 15 minutes, in which case you might not know about an appointment put in by someone else until you've missed it. If you do not generally use outlook for your calendar then changing the settings to one day will help you avoid a meeting at HCT without effecting the way you use outlook for email etc...
follow this link to adjust the default reminder time to one day.

PD at Navy this Thursday 9:15am
Dear Colleagues,
This Thursday I will be giving a short PD on software and webware that may be useful to our particular work environment. It will probably be in room B-3 and should take about 30 minutes. I will answer a few brief questions as I go, but would encourage you all to play around with the different software and web services shown after the meeting and then post on the forums in the form of an Ongoing Q&A
Cheers,
Eric

On Site PD sessions. Where do we start?
Simple answer....Googledocs Collections and other useful information on how to organize, share and collaborate. These explanations and instructions have been generously offered to us by Vance Stevens. The poll on the upper right of this blog is a simple way for us to figure out what will follow. I look forward to seeing the results.
Cheers
